This action packed, fast paced energetic modern variety show – will have you roaring with laughter, singing along and dancing in the aisles as Steve, with his full supporting cast of singers and dancers, entertain you with the best variety of hits from the past few decades, together with hilarious comedy sketches and routines…Oh!!!... And one or two surprises along the way!
Steve McKenna is a Sony Award winning journalist and presenter with well over a decade’s experience under his belt. His television work has encompassed every major terrestrial and digital channel. Steve has also worked on Radio 1 and 2 whilst also reporting for BBC1 News, BBC3 and Radio 5. He’s also written for various publications including NME, The Guardian and completed a two year stint as a columnist for the Daily Record.
Steve’s wit has led to successful comedy writing for Radio 2 and 4 whilst his expertise in the entertainment industry has taken him around the world: The Oscars, Cuba’s first rock gig, numerous festivals throughout Europe, various events in NY and even half way up a mountain in Switzerland. He has a doctorate in metaphysics, his father’s a retired private detective and his mother’s a faith healer ……his interests are extensive, his knowledge is frightening and his experience is enormous.

Re-Connect (Dumfries)
MacDonald Bros will be the star attractions at Community Learning & Development Nithsdale’s Re-Connect event.
X-Factors 3rd place Diana will open the event which will see performances from local young people who take part in the Youth Work Easter programme that will run across Nithsdale during the school holidays.
The Community Learning & Development Service is Re-Launching Youth Work in Nithsdale with Re-Connect. The event will give everyone the chance to learn more about youth work provision and to find out what is happening within their own area.
The event will be a showcase of local young peoples talents including performances of street dance, drama, trash drumming, DJing. There will also be acoustic performances from young people who have accessed the Oasis Youth Centre over the last few years including Robert Shields and Emma Gillespie.
The event will close with a 45 minute set from the MacDonald Bros who will perform a range of top Scottish hits from Franz Ferdinand and Proclaimers as well as their own songs.

Ayr Xmas lights switch on!
The guys will once again be the stars of the show at the xmas lights switch on in their home town of Ayr.
Provost Winnie Sloan will declare the festive period well and truly started when she flicks the switch at 5pm on Sunday, November 23.
De Ville, kids’ favourite Magic Malky and the Paul McKenna band will also be there to ensure that the family fun day has something for everyone.
The switch-on will take place at Wellington Square and for the first time it will be broadcast on a big screen.
Provost Sloan explained: “This is a real family event, with something for people of all ages. The fun starts at 3pm and I will switch the lights on at 5pm.
“If you live in South Ayrshire, or know that you will be in Ayr on that date, come along, join in the fun and have a great time.”
