The Macs new album "Young Celts"  has soared in at no.8 in the Scottish charts.

The boys are "over the moon" to be back in the Scottish top 10 with their new release. They are now taking a few days break after their mamoth World Record Attempt which saw the lads appear at 48 stores in a week.  They are now awaiting news from the Guiness Book Of World Records to see whether the massive feat is recognised as a World Record.

The lads would personally like to thank all their fans for their support and look forward to seeing them at the start of their Winter tour.

The Macs forthcoming album "Young Celts" will be released on 12th October 2008.

The album will be supported by a major marketing campaign including 6 weeks of TV advertising on STV in the build up to and during the release. Look out for some exciting news regarding other promotional activity for the album!

The lads are very proud of the new album which is getting great reaction from retailers. We are confident that the album is going to do very well and cant wait to get started on the build up to it being released.

As exclusively revealed by the fansite last week - the guys have now officialy confirmed that their sure to be fantastic new album will be released on 18/02/2008...and is aptly titled: "The MacDonald Bros...With Love X"

This is a strictly limited edition album.

 The album features acoustic and stripped down covers of classic love songs and ballads including favourites such as "Wonderful Tonight", "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Unchained Melody", "Stand By Me" and "All I Have To Do Is Dream".

The 16 track album is officially released in the shops on Monday 18th February but it is available to pre order now from HMV  for only £7.99 with free delivery.

 

Remember, the album is a strictly limited edition and once sold out will not be reissued so to ensure you get your copy make sure you order early.

Finally after months of waiting the lads' new album  - "The World Outside" was released on Monday 15th October,

and we at the fansite are very pleased to say the album reached the amazing and highly respectable position of number 2 in the Scottish album chart!

Well done to Brian and Craig for producing such an excellent album!!

The MacDonald Brothers 2nd album 'The 'World Outside', is currently in production and is due for release on Monday 15th October 2007, which coincides with their 'An Evening with The MacDonald Brothers' 2007 Scottish Tour.

The album includes a track called 'Saturday Night' (originally a hit by the Bay City Rollers) which includes some of the MacDonald Brothers biggest fans, chanting during the track  it also includes tracks in which both Brian and Craig have written, and there is a few surprises too (including a DVD) so look out for this one......
